About Ms. CostaMs. Costa is a first grade teacher here at Jacques Memorial School here in Milford. She has been teaching here for the past 20 years going beginning in the MEEE program then to Readiness, Kindergarten and now First Grade. She is certified in Early Childhood Education receiving her Bachelor’s and Master in Early Childhood Education at Bridgewater State University. She received her CAGS (Certificate of Advance Graduate Study) degree at Plymouth State University in Special Education Administration. She is also certified in General Special Education. When not at school with her special little friends she likes to spend time with her 2 boys Thomas 27 and James 26 and her dogs Kara and Fletcher. Another special friend living with Ms. Costa is Winnie. Winnie is James’s service dog. Both Ms. Costa and her son James spend time at the Service Dog Project in Ipswich MA volunteering to give back for their generosity of providing James with a service dog. Ms. Costa and her class often watch the new puppies during quiet time. It is amazing to watch these little puppies grow so fast.
